Saturday Morning up the River!!!

Hello All! If you are getting as sick as i am about waiting for this weather to change especially for better paddling conditions in the bay, then you will agree that paddling up the Pine River tomorrow is the go! I am hoping the conditions are better anyway! Now there is a high tide at 8:30 for the brisbane bar so it will be hitting later up the river. But what we want to do is flow up with the current and come back with it when the tide goes out. but we will avoid what Chris and I could have last week which is carrying the kayaks across mud flats because the tide was so low!

After our fantastic kayak up Hays Inlet last weekend I am very keen to paddle up the river! It is a beautiful place and full of life!

We will be starting at the end of Dohles Rocks Road which is along the Murrumba Downs exit off the Bruce Hwy. If you get lost getting there, just ring me on 0406 570 245 and i can try to navigate you there. It's a good starting point highlighted in the new kayak book we have in the MBMS shop. Meet there at 7:00am and it's a nice longer paddle so bring plenty of water and some nibblies! (tim tams are always good!)
